For the third assignment we were asked to create a series of photographs based on the theme 'light'.
My series was based on the theme ' a day at the beach ' Where i took a series of photographs over the course of a day at the beach. My use of the theme light was to experiment with film to try produce a series of images that because of the old film camera (which let in alot of natural light) warmed up the image and gave the moment it was captured in a sense of nostalgia. It was spring time and slightly gloomy when i took the images so using this technique allowed me to produce a series which seems like a summer day at the beach, all while playing on the ever growing popular fad of lomography and instagram. So playing on the cliche of summer beach photography and riffing on lomography i produced these images...

Using tagged areas we experimented with light graffiti. I came up with the idea of  "static motion". Using this theme i want to find similar areas around the wellinton area and with the use of light graffiti tage 'static motion' over these walls.

For our last project, based on the term light my initial process was to take lomography style photographs using an old camera. These cameras let in a lot of natural light, which is why i chose this style for the project. The results varied depending on the daylight hours, and the intensity of the sun and where it was in the sky affected the shot a lot, which is what i tried to experiment with..

 This is my final series on the second photography project 'time'. For my final series i re-took all of the photos with a more nuteral backdrop and added more photos to the series to try and tell more of a story and add to my theme of a cheap date. The series progresses from potentially the start of an evening to the end.

After my initial proposal on the term 'time', i decided to focus on a new direction. I want to take a series of images based around the life line of certain materials and natural objects. I hope to show time by capturing them at different stages of there life...

Experimenting with long exposures for project 2, time.

Using old fire works i had i just wanted to try  create a series of photos to grasp how to capture objects and light using a long exposure photograph. IM not sure of what i will base my final series on but this has helped me understand how to play around with the settings on my camera and capture time using light.
